Ship's Meeting Patriotic Pig, North Richland Hills, TX 1500 hours Once again the plucky crew of the worlds-famous USS Sea Tiger joined together to enjoy food, friendship, and fun at the Patriotic Pig. In attendance at this meeting were RADM Tank Clark, CDR Tracy Clark, RADM Liz Goulet, MCPO Alan Goulet, MCPO Michelle Goulet, and LTC Roon Marchant. Everyone present paid their dues -- $2.00 -- for the year. Discussion included the upcoming Good Day to Dine (GDtD), the scheduled dates for this year's meetings & GDtDs, and we reviewed the fact that the next scheduled Vote of Confidence for the Captain, First Officer, Division Officers (red, blue, gold), and group leaders (MACO, Marines, and Klingons) will be in February 2022 (every even-numbered year, per Section 6.02 of the Ship's Articles. We also discussed possible Landing Parties, including one to the Wise County Heritage Museum and one to the Stockyards Museum at the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Third Brigade has called for a possible new logo design; I have submitted one each, for both the standard Trek universe and the Mirror Universe, and I have encouraged other Marines to do so, as well. We have purchased two 1903 Springfield replica parade rifles to use in color guards and color guard training. We have many of the flags we would want to use, and we're preparing to get poles and stands. The Third Brigade's Field Training Exercise (FTX) program (see ftx.3bde.org) is under way, and we have Marines who are participating. One hopes that more of our Marines will join in the fun soon. STARFLEET MACO has changed back to STARFLEET Special Operations (SFSO), with MACO becoming a division thereof. Our team, the Thirty-Third Military Assault Command Operations Team ("Paladins") will remain a fully MACO team and will follow the Gamma path. I have been informed that I will be placed in overall command of STARFLEET MACO, whilst remaining Deputy Commander of the revised SFSO organization. As mentioned above, the Klingons are participating in the Lone Star Warrior Association's Good Day to Dine, along with members of the IKV SuvwI'ta' and the USS Diamondback. This will be a noteworthy projection of power for Sea Tiger, as the location is in Eastland, TX -- about two hours' drive away. Sea Tiger rarely sends landing parties so far, except to well-established events like Region 3 Summit, Third Brigade Muster, and STARFLEET International Conferences. There is a new organization starting up within STARFLEET. This will be called STARFLEET Intelligence, and the charter is being developed even now. I am a member, and I am encouraging the whole crew of the Sea Tiger to consider joining it as well. As a former USN Intelligence Specialist and as the driving force for the 333rd Military Intelligence Group (our STARFLEET Marine unit), it is hoped that this will fall right into my wheelhouse. Finally, we discussed some thoughts for how we want to celebrate our upcoming 30th chapter anniversary (on 10 Oct 2022). Ideas include holding a ball, doing a dress mess, or even hosting a mini-convention. Submitted logo for 3BDE (above) Sketch idea for STARFLEET Intelligence (above)
