Ship's Meeting 24 Oct 2020, 1100 hours The ship celebrated its 28th anniversary (we were commissioned -- as the USS Comanche -- on Oct 1, 1992) by sending a Landing Party to SeaQuest Fort Worth, at Ridgemar Mall. The party consisted of MGN Tank Clark, RADM Liz Goulet, CDR Tracy Clark, LTC Roon Marchant, MCPO Alan Goulet, and MCPO Michelle Goulet.. SeaQuest is an interactive aquarium with all sorts of fish -- including sharks and stingrays -- with lots of other animals thrown into the bargain: sloths, otters, chickens and other birds, tortoises, and even pigs! COVID limited the number of people who were allowed inside, but once there we were able to feed and/or pet many of the critters. There were even some folk standing in the stingray tank, feeding them by hand! It was a lot of fun, and we are looking forward to our next adventure! The ship will skip the November meeting (as our meeting day falls two days after Thanksgiving), but plans to have our December meeting early, on the 5th. It will be a Klingon Dinner Thing/Ferengi Gift Exchange held at Major Roe's house, starting at noon. Clark, commanding Sea Tiger, out.
